Métapolis is a virtual reality installation for the Marco Museum in Monterrey, Mexico, which immerses the viewer in a 400 m2 interactive environment. It consists of fragments of images of the city of Monterrey that can be combined in 2 and 3D, generative music by Jacobo Baboni-Schiling in reference to the sound universe of this city, as well as multicultural generative texts by Jean-Pierre Balpe based on the same principles.
This original creation reveals a generic and imaginary urban principle linked to all the world's megacities. It will be presented in different cities around the world to become the city of cities, a global and transdisciplinary city.
