In 1992, Miguel Chevaliier was selected to create an installation for the Albertville and Barcelona Olympic Games. Rather than a traditional exhibition of fixed works presented in the various sports complexes, the artist preferred to create a work that reclaimed the technological image of sport broadcasted by television and that was at the heart of the Games' dynamics, thanks to 9 giant screens installed at the bottom of the slopes or in the stadiums. Each night, a one-minute digital video was created from the day's events and a musical creation by Fred Wallich was simultaneously broadcast on the screens before and after the competitions. There was a huge variation in speed and sport performance live.
