Round trip is a gigantic travelling between Tokyo and Kyoto, from the train the 'Shinkansen'. The images scroll, mix and overlap to evoke a city without end, without centre or periphery. Through this frenetic urban planning, the installation shows how nature and the countryside are devoured by megacities, whether in Tokyo, Mexico City or Los Angeles. In these chaotic and shoreless cities, artifice takes over the environment.
