This is a series of works on nature and artifice influenced by my stay in Kyoto, Japan. It is the follow-on from "Baroque & Classical" and is the first interactive piece fully digital works. "Big Glass - a "Liquid' Life" is created by algorithms which generate constantly shifting images. These virtual works no longer function in a linear manner, like video or TV. They abolish static images and aspire to immateriality. The 2D works installed on a computer hard disk evolve in real time. Viewers can interact with them by clicking on a mouse. A new tension between form and formlessness, figuration and "de-figuration" crystallizes the possibility of representing the incomplete and the infinite.
